With the Christmas season behind us, EdChoice KY is looking ahead to 2017 and preparing for the state legislature to gavel in on January 3rd. As attention turns to Frankfort in January, we know Scholarship Tax Credits will be one solution discussed when the legislature debates the direction of Kentucky’s education system.

Just this last week, the Lexington Herald-Leader mentioned Scholarship Tax Credits as a school choice reform proposal gaining ground in Kentucky.  Governor Bevin specifically called for action on school choice measures that have been bottled up for years.

The momentum is at our back – and we cannot slow down.

Before the new year begins, consider making your resolution early by getting more engaged with EdChoice KY.

  • Sign up to attend our School Choice Rally on January 27 at 10:00 AM on the steps of the state capitol in Frankfort. When you RSVP, be sure to mention if your school, church or community organization needs transportation arranged. RSVP to

  • Are you a business leader? Join the Smarter Future Council, EdChoice KY’s business coalition, by signing up here.
  • Forward this e-mail to five friends or family members who support expanding educational opportunities in Kentucky.
